Did you know that 99% of all diet and exercise progams fail to help dieters loose weight quickly and achieve their weight loss goals? It’s true, and dieters continue to make the weight loss industry a billion dollar business. But, if 99% of all diet and exercise programs fail to allow users to loose weight or lose fat why then do dieters continue to waste their time and money? Because dieters know that their inability to attain fast weight loss has nothing to do with the diet but rather their lack of effort.
The fact of the matter is that all diets (even the most ridiculous) will allow dieters to loose weight even if for just a few days at a time.
Yet, I cannot count the times I have heard dieters complain about the inneffectiveness of specific diets that are famous for allowing dieters to attain the fastest weight loss. This suggests two things about the mental state of the average dieter desperate to loose weight. One, dieters do not want to lose weight as bad as they want to continue eating the way that made them fat in the first place and two, dieters do not put forth any real weight loss effort.
I was speaking to a friend recently who could not stop complaining about how she could not seem to loose weight no matter how hard she tried. I asked what specific diet she was currently using to attain fast fat loss and she answered that it was the Atkins diet. I then asked her to explain to me what kind of diet the Atkins diet is and how it causes dieters to loose weight quickly. Not to my surprise she did not understand my basic question on the subject of nutrition and fat loss.
So, she could not tell me that the Atkins diet is a low carbohydrate, high protein diet that causes dieters to quickly loose weight as a result of semi-starvation dieting. Upon further investigation she also could not tell me what a carbohydrate is and what a protein is let alone the role carbohydrates and proteins play in the field of fat loss. You see, my friend (a college graduate) fails time and again in her attempts to quickly loose weight out of sheer ignorance towards the subjects of fat loss and nutrition and continues to try diet after diet complaining each time that it is the diets fault and not hers.
Dieting to attain fast fat loss is not suppossed to be easy, if followed correctly and for short periods of time just about any diet program will be beneficial but to blame the diet for your failures instead of yourself will always keep you from losing weight.
Fat Burning Facts
Would you believe that the average dieters do not want to lose weight as much as they want to continue eating the way they are accustomed to? It’s true, as 99% of all diet and exercise programs fail to give its users the results they desire. How can this be when even the most ridiculous of weight loss programs will work to allow its user to lose weight fast? Simple, people begin a diet and exercise program with the intention to begin losing weight but are not willing to change their present eating habits.
This important fact of dieting to lose weight cannot be ignored. How can it be that if practically every diet and exercise program works, only 1% of dieters achieve their weight loss goals? Obviously because dieters begin a new diet and exercise program with the greatest of intentions but soon realize that to lose weight actually takes effort. And even though people may be desperate to attain weight loss via diet and exercise they do not want to attain weight loss as bad as they want to eat the foods that they love and which made them fat in the first place.
I cannot count the times I have heard dieters complain that they cannot lose weight no matter how hard they try, as I watch them spread another gob of butter on to their toast. The average dieter does not even know that there is a difference between losing weight and burning fat tissue while on a diet and exercise program. To lose weight means to lose water, muscle and organ tissue with little to no fat loss.
Dieters will continue to fail in their attempts to lose weight until they admit to themselves that they are responsible for their own dieting failures and stop placing the blame on diets they may have used or a presently using. I mean really, the average overweight 50 year old woman has been on a diet of some sort for over 25 years and still has not reached her weight loss goals. Over this time she has used dozens of diets and exercise programs to quickly lose fat yet amazingly all were bogus in her eyes. Bogus, eventhough people who used the exact same diet and exercise programs experienced effective weight loss.
